Hi, my name is Joeri Bal.

And I am 46 years old.

 

Suntoro is my second name, which was my real name after my birth and before my adoption. It is quite an unique name. That’s the reason I used it for my website.

 

I started my carreer at a shipyard. I loved working there and to be a part of the engineering team of luxury yachts.

 

But after a few years I wanted to combine work with my other passion. Radio controlled car racing and I took a job opportunity to work combining my interests with designer engineering. For some difficult reasons my job in the radio controlled racing car business ended up in 2014 after having been in that business for more than 12 years. The brand I worked for was taken over by a foreign company.

 

At the moment I work as a draftsman and planner at a metal company, using AutoCad, Solidworks and Trumpf BOOSTcutting software. But my passion and interests lie more in the engineering of products to which I feel connected to.

 

My hobbies and my favorite spare time occupations are mountainbiking, road cycling and fixed gear racing. I also like to work on my bikes and upgrade them. I always had interest in technique, but I also like to be creative.
